There are many different kinds of World of Warcraft mods in the game. Choosing the right one can be quite troublesome as you will have to trial and error to see whether it works for you. Here, three World of Warcraft mobs will be introduced to you.

The first mob is the scrolling combat text. This is probably the most essential mod for PvP. It will tell you when you have low blood, low mana or when you are in combat or have magic spells on you. Some other nice functions are that it allows you to know who actually did heal you and for how much each time. Whenever you are in a raid or doing some PvP, you would notice the person that is constantly healing me and would sometimes just drop the person a nice "Thank you" message. In raids, it can be used as an indication on who are the healers that are sharp and are doing their job. These are the healers that you will keep for the next raid and those that have not been performing as well will be replaced by other healers that have been waiting in line. Therefore, you should not that your raid leaders do notice who is and is not healing as they should in raids.

As for scrolling combat text, Bizzard already has a default one in the game for you; however, it is recommended that you get the mod because it has more functions. Try out both and see which you prefer. The one in-game is definitely takes lesser memory and thus will not create as much lag as compared to the mod. So once again, give both a try and see the difference for yourselves.

The second mob is the enemy cast bar. With this mod you can see what spells your enemy is casting and how long it will take before the spells are about to be released. This way you can time your spells interrupt to just as their spells are about to be released. But it doesn't work for instant cast spells though.

The third mob is Cooldown. This mod is extremely useful no matter what class you are as it displays exactly how many seconds or minutes are left before your spell is ready to use. This mod really comes in very handy and it is thanks to this mod that I have been able to win countless victories when in a PvP battle.
